This subscription publication is issued 10 times per year - with accompanying index and optional supplements - and covers all spheres of recent activity in the European Commission and other Community institutions.

It is compact and easy to consult, a logically structured mix of specific items and themes, making it an essential reference tool. Through the Bulletin, it is possible to follow the passage of Community legislation through all its stages, from presentation of a proposal by the Commission to final enactment by the Council.

Each issue of the Bulletin also contains regular items such as further references to additional detail on legislation and average conversion rates of the euro for the period in question.

Supplements to the Bulletin are published from time to time, containing background material on significant Community issues of the day.
