This guide, drawn up by the National Association of British and Irish Millers (nabim) Ltd, the trade association for the UK flour milling industry, provides advice to food businesses operating flour mills on how to comply with Regulation (EC) no. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs. Whilst the use of the guide by businesses is voluntary, the information in it will help them to meet both their legal obligations and to ensure food safety. Food business operators are also advised to refer to the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/14, ISBN 9780110738888) (as amended by SI 2007/56, ISBN 9780110756516) which applies Regulation 852/2004 in England.
