The role of the Forestry Commission is to ensure the sustainable management of Britain's forests and woodlands in order to promote the diverse benefits that forests provide to meet the needs of present and future generations. This publication presents the organisation's annual report and accounts for Great Britain and for England for the period 2002-03.
