The 2012 edition of International Travel and Health by the World Health Organization explains how travellers can stay healthy and provides WHO guidance on all the principal risks that can occur both during their journey and at their destination. It describes all relevant infectious diseases, including their causative agents, modes of transmission, clinical features and geographical distribution, and provides details of prophylactic and preventive measures.
The World Health Organization have discontinued supply of International Travel and Health 2012 as it now contains out of date information. Production of both the 2014 and 2015 releases have been cancelled prior to publication.
