'Economic and Labour Market Review (ELMR)' draws together research and analysis – plus a range of content found in Economic Trends and Labour Market Trends – to build an up-to-date statistical picture of the UK economy and labour market.

ELMR provides an independent view of the state of the economy – including the labour market – and gives an insight into how the statistics behind the analysis are produced and interpreted. It gives explanations of the methodologies used by the producers of official statistics and assesses the impact of new statistical methodologies, highlighting the benefits to users of newly released or improved official statistics.

Areas covered include:

• national and regional accounts;

• trade and balance of payments;
