EC note: These Regulations revise the certification regime application to UK fishing vessels, and non-UK fishing vessels operating in UK waters. In order to obtain a Certificate of Compliance, a vessel must comply with an applicable Code of Practice, determined by size of vessel and within waters they operate. The Codes of Practice deal with safe operation, construction and equipping of fishing vessels. The Codes implement Council Directive 93/103/EC. With correction slip dated October 2017.
