biological factors external to a person, and all the related factors impacting
behaviours. It encompasses the assessment and control of those environmental

behaviour not related to environment, as well as behaviour related to the
social and cultural environment, and genetics.
This Environmental Health Criteria (EHC) aims to provide information to national regulatory authorities to assist in conducting health risk assessments and managing the risk involving dermal exposure to chemicals.
This Regional Strategy for Protecting Health from Climate Change has been developed to fulfil the decisions taken at the twenty-fifth, twenty-sixth and twenty-seventh Meetings of Ministers of Health of the Member States of the South-East Asia Region held in Thimphu, Bhutan in 2007; in New Delhi, India in 2008, and in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2009.
This document is the result of the process of strengthening key health system functions and improved management of the risks presented by a changing climate.
