The BRC has produced a series of good practice Guidelines to accompany the Global Standards.
Systems need to be regularly tested to make sure traceability can be determined from raw material to finished product and vice versa. This publication looks at the benefits of Traceability Testing, determining the frequency of checks and dealing with non-conformances.
The series of BRC Guidelines has been produced to provide practical advice on complying with the BRC Standards, the Standards provide best practice for Food, Packaging of Food, Consumer Products and Non GM Food. The Guidelines will help manufacturers and suppliers to adhere to the Standards and win or maintain business and will also help demonstrate the quality, safety and legality of their products.
The BRC Guidelines cover subject areas including: Complaint Handling, Internal Audit, Metal Detection, Pest Control, Process Validation: Low Acid Canning, Process Validation: Pasteurisation, Product Recall, Quantity Measurement, Shelf-Life Determination and Traceability Testing.
