Lord Taylor of Warwick was found guilty in January 2011 on six counts of 'furnishing false information relating to accounts' and sentenced to 12 months in prison. The Commissioner for Standards prepared a report on his conduct, and a Sub-committee on Lords' Conduct recommended a sanction of suspension from the House for 12 months. Lord Taylor appealed to the Committee for Privileges and Conduct against a finding that he had not co-operated with the Commissioner for Standards. The Committee for Privileges and Conduct does not uphold his appeal, and confirms the Sub-committee's recommendation that Lord Warwick be suspended from the House until 30 May 2012.
