In this report the Committee draws attention to two standing order constraints that it believes should be remedied without delay. First is the inability to sit when the House is adjourned, and the second is the power to appoint specialist advisors. Both of these powers are available to the other committees of the House, and would be beneficial to the working of the Committee. A draft motion proposing the changes to standing orders is annexed to the report.
