'British Approved Names 2007: Supplement No. 4' includes details of names that have been issued since the publication of British Approved Names (BAN) 2007 (listed below).
British Approved Names are short, distinctive names (selected in accordance with the Guiding Principles) for substances or articles referred to in section 100 of the Medicines Act 1968 (the Act), for which the systematic chemical or other scientific names are too complex for convenient general use.
