Thirteenth Report of the Independent Monitoring Commission - Front

This Report from the Independent Monitoring Commission examines the continuing activities of paramilitary groups, assessing the state of preparedness of paramilitary groups and the incidence of paramilitary violence between 1 September and 30 November 2006.

The Independent Monitoring Commission examine a number of paramilitary groups, including Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF), Irish National Liberation Army (INLA), Oglaigh na hEireann (ONH), Continuity Irish Republican Army (CIRA), Real Irish Republican Army (RIRA), Ulster Defence Association (UDA), Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), Red Hand Commando (RHC) and Provisional Irish Republican Army (PIRA).

Among the findings of this assessment is the information that a number of PIRA members have taken up political roles in Sinn Féin in furtherance of the commitment to follow the political path.
