Since its first edition in 1935-36, the Yearbook of Labour Statistics has established itself as the world's foremost work of statistical reference on labour questions, bringing together in systematic form a mass of data from a vast network of authoritative sources of information in some 190 countries.

This (68th) edition of Labour Statistics consists of two volumes (see below for details of the second volume).
Time series continues the time series format of the previous edition and contains 31 tables corresponding to nine major substantive chapters on:
(i) economically active population,
(ii) employment,
(iii) unemployment,
(iv) hours of work,
(v) wages,
(vi) labour cost,
(vii) consumer prices,
(viii) occupational injuries,
(ix) strikes and lockouts.
Please note: The next publication of Yearbook of Labour Statistics: Time Series or Country Profiles will be in 2011. This edition will cover statistics from both 2010 and 2011.
