How to access the Theory Test Extra eBook on your smartphone
The new 'Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers and The Official Highway Code 2012 Edition' includes 14 Quick Response (QR) codes at the start of each section. If you scan each code using a QR code reader app on your smartphone you will be able to access the relevant section within the 'Theory Test Extra eBook' - follow our simple steps below to access the eBook and see all the information you need to prepare for the multiple choice part of your theory test.
If you are trying to access 'The Official DSA Theory Test Extra eBook' on your iPhone you will need to open this eBook in iBooks. Once you have scanned the QR code and you are taken to the page explaining how you download the eBook, simply press the 'Continue to eBook' button at the bottom of the screen, then press the 'Open in iBooks' button. The Theory Test Extra eBook will then appear in your iBooks Library. You will need to enter the password supplied in The Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers book to view the eBook.
If you have an Android smartphone you may need to install the free Adobe Reader app on your phone to view this eBook. Please follow the instructions below if you do not already have the Adobe Reader app installed on your Android smartphone.
If you already have the Adobe Reader app press the 'Continue to eBook' link and you will be redirected to the Theory Test Extra eBook! You will need to enter the password supplied in The Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers book to view the eBook.
- Select the Android Market icon from your phone's Applications screen.
- Type 'Adobe Reader' in the search bar and hit enter.
- Adobe Reader should be the first app that you see in the search results. Click the 'install' button to download it and install on your phone. You will be prompted to sign into Android Market to complete the installation.
- Once the app is installed on your phone, rescan the QR code and press 'Continue to eBook' when you return to this screen.
- Type in the password supplied in The Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers book and you should now be able to see the Theory Test Extra eBook!
You can also access the eBook on your PC or laptop by typing the short URL that appears under the QR code at the start of each chapter and then entering the printed password when prompted.
